RT-32CTL Radio Transmitter Module for L-358 and L-758 series

Sekonic RT-32CTL Radio Transmitter Module provides compatibility with the PocketWizard® ControlTL® channels in addition to the original Standard triggering channels.

Compatible with both FCC (USA) and CE (Europe) frequencies, the new RT-32CTL Radio Transmitter module can be used in Sekonic wireless-ready meters and supports all ControlTL® channels available for either market system as well as ControlTL Zones (A, B, C). Both ControlTL and Standard signals are broadcast with each trigger so ControlTL and Standard radios can be used together.

This enables photographers to precisely set up dimensional lighting scenarios quickly and easily in the Studio or on location.

The RT-32CTL transmitter module is universal and can be used with either USA/North America market products or European products. Compatible with ControlTL products as well as Standard channel products of PocketWizard®.

Use for triggering PocketWizard ControlTL Products such as MiniTT1, FlexTT5, ST4, MC2. Also triggers Standard PocketWizard products such as PLUS series and MultiMAX.

PocketWizard ControlTL® radios will require a firmware update to work properly with Sekonic light meters with RT-32CTL in ControlTL mode.

The following is a list of firmware updates needed for ControlTL compatibility with the RT-32CTL:

       § PowerST4 - firmware 5.100 or later*
       § PowerMC2 - firmware 2.200 or later*
       § FlexTT5® for Canon - firmware 6.100 or later*
       § FlexTT5® for Nikon - firmware 3.100 or later*

I've long felt that I was not getting the best out of my digital camera by using it's TTL metering system. Having been brought up on film, a light meter was a tool I constantly used and for several years I considered buying one for use with my Nikon cameras. I finally took the plunge in June this year and bought a 758DR. Learning how to calibrate and use this meter, thanks to Joe Brady's great videos, has changed my images and how I shoot dramatically. I'm now getting the full tonality I was after and it's exciting to see images come alive with very small adjustments in Lightroom. Thanks Sekonic and thank you Joe, it's great to see you pass on your skills and knowledge of the Sekonic family of light meters and how to use them. Close
Thanks. I passed your comment to Joe.
